Q2 2026 Results Summary
The President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) achieved the following results during Q2 FY2026 (January–March 2026) across 55 partner countries:
- 20.8 million people currently receiving antiretroviral treatment (ART)
- 2.4 million people tested for HIV during the quarter
- 6.7 million voluntary male medical circumcisions performed (cumulative)
- 1.1 million orphans and vulnerable children receiving support services
Regional Highlights
Sub-Saharan Africa
Treatment coverage in the 10 highest-burden countries reached 89%, up from 86% in Q2 FY2025. Six countries are now within reach of the UNAIDS 95-95-95 targets.
Latin America & Caribbean
New testing modalities including community-based and self-testing kits drove a 15% increase in case finding in Haiti, Guatemala, and Honduras.
