Multi-Factor Authentication Now Required

In accordance with federal cybersecurity directives, multi-factor authentication (MFA) is now required for all FACTS Info system access.

What You Need to Do

  1. Download an authenticator application on your mobile device
  2. Visit the MFA setup page at afa.dfafacts.gov/mfa-setup
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to register your device

Alternative Options

Users with PIV or CAC cards may continue to use certificate-based authentication as their second factor.

Who is affected

All FACTS Info user accounts, including agency staff and implementing partners with interactive login access.

What you need to do

  1. Enroll an approved authenticator if you have not already.
  2. Keep recovery codes in a secure location per agency policy.
  3. Contact support before your next deadline if enrollment is blocked.
